We came with friends this time and really enjoyed "Heaven on Ocracoke". The sunsets on the lake were incredible. We enjoyed riding bikes to the beach, swimming in the ocean. We cooked our own food and ate on the porch. We also enjoyed walking and riding bikes to visit the gift shops. I love Ocracoke and our friends thanked us for introducing them to it. My youngest son also loves it and we all want to come back again.

We loved the property and the location. My husband and I had it all to ourselves, as our sister in law could not come. But our grandchildren came down to fish off the dock several times . We love to have time with them on vacation. We love this place. Maybe next year for our 50th anniversary in May. Thank You

Heaven in Ocracoke exceeded our expectations. The views were amazing and it was great to have access to the dock and kayak/ paddle board launch. The ice maker was an unexpected convenience.

My first trip to Ocracoke was in 1972. I have only missed one year. When my children were younger (in the 1970's) we frequently came down three-four-even five times a year! For the first few years we stayed at the campgrounds (which were quite primitive at that time), in a tent, graduating later to a camper on the back of a pickup. Eventually we began staying in rental homes==and in the early days they were pretty awful--ancient wooden floors, peeling linoleum floors, beds that were lumpy and uncomfortable and smelled musty and mildewed; beat up pots and pans. But we didn't care--we were FINALLY at Ocracoke. I have stayed in a different rental each time I've come down, and Heaven on Ocracoke was the finest of the entire list--the one where I felt completely at home and comfortable. And the views of Silver Lake were balm to our Covid-weary souls.
