It was great. AC was a bit warm but it was brutal hot outside.
We loved staying at A Salty Escape for a week in September. We particularly enjoyed the fact that there were windows on all sides of the house, letting in gorgeous views of Ocracoke from every angle. We had never been to Ocracoke in September before and were surprised that we were still able to swim in the ocean and the water was just as warm as we had experienced in May, June, July and August. The condo was extremely clean, and well appointed, but I was somewhat disappointed to find out that the tub in the larger room was not working. I was told that the condo had very recently been bought by a new owner and that they had not yet been able to get around to repairing the tub. This was literally our only complaint. This condo would be ideal for two couples, two friends or a small family. It might not work well for older adults with mobility issues as its on the third floor and there is no elevator. After the new owners fix the tub and maybe fill in some minor wall imperfections, this condo will be ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!
