We were the high bidder on this property when it was auctioned last fall to help Western North Carolina. I hope you will convey to the Owner that her generosity did not go unnoticed. Her unselfish willingness to contribute speaks volumes to her character and we're glad we were a small part of that.The house was clean and well furnished. We had everything we needed for our week long stay. The staff at Blue Heron was exceptional. Everyone we encountered prior to coming and during our stay was friendly and helpful.

We love staying on Ocracoke. This property was perfect for our trip this year, and we will definitely have it as one of our top choices when we return. Patty's Hollow was perfect for our clan of 6 - 2 adults and 4 teenagers. We enjoyed how close it was to everything, yet it seemed set back a little, as well. We arrived after hours and had no problem finding the packet on the porch. I really appreciated the highlighted map, which made it very easy to locate our property.

Patty's Hollow was a great place to stay. The house was immaculately clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you'd need for cooking. Although the icemaker did not work, there were plenty of ice trays to keep up with the demand. Loved the screened front porch for mornings and evenings of people watching. The addition of the free tram made getting around the island really quite simple.

We all loved the place!
Everything was in working order and clean. The location was good and close to a lot of shops. I would definitely stay here again. We've been coming to the island twice a year for about 30 years and always enjoy our stay. See you in the fall!
