My wife and I have just completed a week's rental of Charlotte's Place. We both loved our stay there. It is an older home in good upkeep. The beds are comfortable. The two bathrooms are very small but functional. The kitchen is well equipped. The location is really extraordinary. It is so very quiet, and the surrounding wooded lots give the impression almost of isolation. The dirt road amplifies that sense of rural living.The most amazing part of our stay was sitting on the screened porch and in the sunroom overlooking a forest of Live Oaks and Wax Myrtles. That was so beautiful to see and feel a part of, almost as if we lived in a tree house. The Live Oaks are so quintessentially southern. We thank Blue Heron Realty and its owner for providing us the opportunity to stay there
