We LOVED Jack's Place! The location was prime, the beauty of Silver Lake and accessibility to everything was amazing. We loved the panoramic views out the windows and doors. The kitchen was well equipped, better than any other place we have stayed. We hope to stay there again in the future. Thank you for being a great place and rental company to work with.

I've been coming to Ocracoke every year for at least 5 years now to celebrate my mom's birthday, and we've stayed at different locations each time. This was my first time with Blue Heron and at Jack's Place, and it was the best place we've stayed at thus far! Very well-cared for and clean, beautiful views, and a home away from home. I highly recommend this place, and would definitely stay here again! Best housekeeping I've experienced on the island! Attention was paid to every detail.

Jack’s place is a amazing location. The view of the harbor was fantastic it allowed us to watch the storm come in. The mattress in the bedroom was top notch I wish I had taken a picture so I could get one for my house. The pillows were fabulous. We really enjoyed the covered porch we could stay on there even when it was raining. Our family thoroughly enjoyed Mr. Man the ockracat who lives there. Once again it was a home run from blue Heron Realty.

Couldn't ask for a better location. Back of unit full of windows letting in great light and Wonderful views. Absolutely loved the porch watching the Ferry, sailboats coming in the harbor for the evening and fishing boats unloading catch of the day. Spacious clean unit. Could use a hair dryer. Outside ceiling fan may be nice (us Southerns do like our fans, lol)

Was very pleased with everything about Jack's Place.
We really loved the property. This rental is laid out perfectly. It was very nice and extremely well-maintained, and it had everything we needed. We have never stayed right in the middle of the village and enjoyed this experience. Staying right on Silver Lake made everything we love about Ocracoke even better. It would be hard to find a better place. We like it so much we rented the property for the same week next year.My wife and I also appreciated the little touches that Blue Heron added to the rental (hand and body soaps, shampoo, extra rolls of toilet paper, a kitchen package, a laundry package, a great beach bag, and probably some other things that I am forgetting. We also appreciated the great communications that Blue Heron sent to us prior to and during our stay.
