Portsmouth Island Homecoming

Every two years, the Friends of Portsmouth Island and Cape Lookout National Seashore work together to host a sentimental homecoming event in Portsmouth Village. During this event, visitors are invited to explore the village and participate in the homecoming service. The event is concluded with a traditional "dinner on the grounds" tradition.
The 2024 Homecoming will be focused on the Lifesaving Station!
